The Sea Monster – Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6

A wild Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6, yes you read that right! 6×6! It was spotted in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This G63 AMG 6×6 is the work of “My Car“, a car custom shop at Jeddah.  The SUV is owned by @baa_bader, who also has an amazing car collection (the other cars in the pictures). What you’ll get to see now are the images from the photo shoot of the Sea Monster carried out by @hosamalhamdi! Less talk and more visual, see the photo to know how appropriately it is called the Sea Monster!

Its glorious and huge! Its perfect and excess at the same time! Its wonderful and wonderfully expensive too!

First the Images:

And the short video:

All of the cars are in my favorite color – Blue!! The G63 AMG 6×6 will surely remain a unicorn vehicle. It’s a unique machine that’s produced in low numbers and sold in a few markets. It’s certainly great to see one being driven more aggressively than being used as an Office-to-Mall-to-Home transport shuttle.

Get your own Mustang, your color your style. Here’s how.

While updating the blog’s fan page on Facebook (, I came across a post by the Ford Mustang Page on Facebook (

Ford Mustang Customizer
Mustang Customizer – [Click on the picture to enlarge]
Ford Mustangs have been running this since quite a few months now. (They already have over 2,000,000 different customs made by their fans! Yes those are the correct number of zeros there!) You can go to this site:  and start customizing your Mustang in your favourite color and style.
And by doing this you stand a chance to get to see your Mustang as ‘The Car of the Week‘ on their Facebook page, which they then use as their cover photo for a week.

While the customization options are as awesome as possible, they can vary from changing the color of the car to changing the car itself. Yes! You get to choose between which models of the Mustang you want to modify – a V6, a GT and lastly the powerful Shelby GT500.

The customization options work on various aspects of the car covering the color, the hood, the roof, the wheel, the bodykit, the door handle, the door trim, the fuel door, the headlight, the hoodpin, the louver, the side mirrors, the plate, the scoop, the side skirt, the spoiler and what not! (need to catch a breath now!!)

Well its fun customizing the Mustang according to your choice for free! When its all done, you can invite your friends to also create their Mustangs and compete with them.

Well, if you are still not convinced to try it out, you can have a look at Sid’s Storm! (my Mustang, you can name yours too!)

Chevy Camaro – The CAR, Its Journey

Today’s Post on my favourite CAR ever, the Chevy Camaro..Hence it took a while for me to cut it short (I know its still long! but i couldn’t miss anything out on its journey so..)

The Chevy Camaro is one of the finest, performance-oriented, muscle car ever to be built and has been in existence since 1966..yes that’s about 46 years..

The current Camaro is the fifth generation Camaro.. that obviously means there were four previous generations of the Camaro..

A lot to say about the CAR but a picture is worth a thousand words… So I’ll let the pics do all the talking..

A first generation, 1968 Chevy Camaro

The first generation debuted in September 1966, with the 1967 model of the Chevy Camaro and then succeeded with the 1968 and 1969 models of the Camaro.

A second generation, 1970 Chevy Camaro Z28

The second generation was introduced in the 1970 with cosmetic changes especially in the 1974 and 1978 models. This generation was produced from 1970 to 1981. The Camaro was heavily restyled and had a larger and wider body. The second generation also came with the Z28  package, which included an air induction hood scoop.

A third generation, 1982 Chevy Camaro

The third generation was produced from 1982 to 1992. This generation also celebrated with a “20th Anniversary Commemorative Editionin 1987 and a “25th Anniversary Heritage Packagein 1992. These were the first to offer modern fuel-injection, four-speed manual and five-speed automatic transmissions. It was also 227kgs lighter than the previous generation.

A fourth generation, 2002 Chevy Camaro SS (35th Anniversary Edition)

The fourth generation, which was produced from 1993 to 2002, retained the same body style and also came as a Convertible (introduced in 1994). The fourth generation gave a choice and variety of V6 and V8 engines. The standard engine was 3.4 litre V6, from 1993 to 95. A more powerful 3.8 litre V6 was introduced as an option and made standard in 1996. The V8, the standard engine for the Z28 model, was borrowed from the 1992 Corvette.

The interiors were restyled in the 1997 model and more exterior styling changes were made in the 1998 model. Also, an all-aluminium engine was introduced later, which was also obtained from the Corvette C5, which gave the Camaro a thrilling 305-horsepower.

It remained in production continuously for 35 years till 2002, after which production was stopped due to slowing sales and its deteriorating market.

It wasn’t the end for this successful, powerful muscle CAR.

After 2002, a 2006 Camaro Concept was revealed at the North American International Auto Show on January 6, 2006, which was the official indication from General Motors (GM) that a fifth generation of this CAR would follow. Exactly a year later, on January 6, 2007, the  2007 Camaro Convertible Concept was revealed at North American International Auto Show, 2007. The roof wasn’t the only difference between the two concepts, but there were several subtle changes to the exterior of the Convertible.

The body styling of both the fifth generation concepts was evidently lined on the first generation Camaro.

GM announced in 2006, that they would start the production of the all-new Camaro in 2008, which would be based on these award winning concepts. But the production was delayed and the actual production started on March 16, 2009.

Chevrolet General Manager Ed Peper said the new Camaro “will appeal to both men and women, and unite customers with fond memories of previous Camaros with those who first experienced a Camaro” when the concept was unveiled in January.

A fifth generation, 2010 Chevy Camaro SS

The fifth generation came with five different trim levels; the LS, 1LT, 2LT, 1SS and 2SS.

The LS and LT trims are powered by a 3.6 litre GM LLT V6 producing 312 hp. The SS with manual transmission is powered by the 6.2 litre GM LS3 V8 producing 426 hp, while the one with automatic transmission is powered by the 6.2 litre GM L99 V8 producing 400 hp. [You can google for more detailed specifications..that’s why I haven’t included them.]

An RS package is available on the LT and SS trims that include HID headlamps (High Intensity Discharge lamps, see the photo below and you’ll understand..) with integrated Halo Rings, spoiler and RS-specific taillamps and wheels.

The fifth generation of the Camaro has seen the most number of Special/Limited Editions ever. It was also featured in the movie Transformers as the Autobot Bumblebee first depicted by a 1977 Z28 Camaro and later as a fifth generation concept variant. The modified fifth generation 2010 and 2012 Camaros are shown as Bumblebee in the sequels Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

The fifth generation also celebrated with a “45th Anniversary Edition” in 2012.

A special edition Camaro ZL1 is also a part of the fifth generation of the Camaro.

I am really stopping myself from writing more about the Camaro in this post now. Sorry that you had to read and see so much.. But I know it was worth it. Smile Smile
